ISATs are here!!

We will be taking ISATs next week.
Here is our tentative schedule:

	Mon, March 4	Tues, March 5	Wed., March 6	Thurs, March 7	Fri, March 8
9:15-10:15
10:30-11:30	5th Math 1	5th Math 2	5th Math 3
1:00-2:00
2:15-3:15		5^th Reading1	5th reading	5th reading3

Make-ups will be the following week. Please try not to miss school at these times. Please be sure to make sure your child gets a good nights sleep and has a good protein rich breakfast. Remind our students the importance of doing their best on ISATs. I know they will do wonderful!!

Attention My Math Class: Next week we will be wrapping up Unit 7 in Math. Positive and Negative Integers are very difficult for some students. Help your child prepare for our math assessment by working with positive and negative integers. Some example problems you can try together:

-20+(-32)=
20+(-32)=
-20-32=
20-32=
-20+32=

They are all very different problems that look very similar! Practice makes perfect!!
We will be continuing to practice during class!!
